The Deck
There are various ways to build your Pokemon deck though there are a couple of recommended or strict rules you must follow.
Firstly, the deck must include exactly 60 cards.
Secondly, you cannot have more than 4 copies of the same card in your deck except for basic energy cards.
It is recommeded that you do not have too many energy cards and also not too many different types but also to have enough so you can use your Pokemon's attacks.
It is also recommended to have enough Pokemon.
Laslty, it is highly recommended to have trainer cards.
These cards each have different properties and abilities that can help you do various things such as increase your attack power, defend yourself, search your deck for things you need and much more.
